Acceptance

Life has its share

of the seasons

of ups and down

of twists and turns

or a river flow

of changes in depth

in currents,

noise

and stillness.

Today,

I simply

take time to be

and let life be

with all its

contraditions

with all its beauty

with all its greatness

with all its colors

knowing deep within,

my life is the only life

I accept as a gift

for me and for others.

and joy in the heart

as you trudge with me

another day

in the journey of life

especially

in accepting

life as it is.
