I will become
what I am longing for
If I long for God
I will be God
If I long for Heaven
I will be heaven
That is why
once in a while
one needs to pause
and think about
what to long for
and if the longing
does not exceed
the limits and boundaries
of the pleasures
of this world
one needs to redirect
one's longing
to something
that is lasting
and eternal
in order that
the longing
will find
its fulfillment
in one's being.
